Hosted remote MCP is reserved for v2. The MCP protocol's native x402 payment-handoff is still settling in the ecosystem. Until it does, stdio packages — which run on the agent's machine with the agent's own wallet — are the safer, simpler shape: zero custody on our side, one private key in the agent's config.

When (a) MCP clients natively render 402 payment handoffs, or (b) we choose to take on custodial balance management with cold/hot wallet separation and an IOU ledger. Neither is on a firm date.
